Having trouble receiving notifications? Before reaching out to support, let's work backwards to figure out why. Here are the possible spots preventing you from receiving notifications:
Silenced Conversations
Individual conversations can be muted with the "Silence" feature. If the conversation is silenced, go to the Chats/Home page and see if there is a blue bell icon present (shown below).
If so, click here for this article can help you unsilence the conversation.
Do Not Disturb - SwitchUp
"Do Not Disturb" mode silences all SwitchUp notifications for a specific amount of time or indefinitely. If Do Not Disturb mode is enabled, you will see the Do Not Disturb icon (a moon icon shown below) in the SwitchUp logo at the top of your screen.
To turn off Do Not Disturb, click here to learn how.
Business Hours - SwitchUp
The icon below indicates that business hours is enabled. Business Hours is another feature that affects notifications. When set up and enabled, Business Hours will send you notifications only during the hours of business. Outside of these hours, you will not receive notifications.

Notification Settings - SwitchUp
Sometimes, you might have missed a notification because of your SwitchUp notification settings.
Go to Settings > Notifications to adjust what you will receive notifications for.
This article here will tell you what each notification toggle does.
Do Not Disturb/Focus Mode - iOS
If you downloaded iOS 15, you'll notice the new Focus Mode, reducing your distractions while working, driving, etc. When Focus Mode is activated, it silences your unwanted notifications, which may include SwitchUp. To have SwitchUp notifications bypass Focus Mode, this article here will show you how to allow notifications for SwitchUp while in Focus Mode.
Do Not Disturb mode (available to users with iOS 14 and lower) may also prevent you from receiving SwitchUp notifications. Unfortunately, there is no way to create exceptions when Do Not Disturb mode is activated. The best solution would be to disable Do Not Disturb mode. This article here will tell you more about Do Not Disturb mode.
Notification Permissions - iOS
At this point, if none of the above worked, let's check the Notification Settings on your phone. You might have SwitchUp notifications disabled completely on your phone
(Don't worry, we forgive you 😉 Mistakes happen!).
Go to iOS Settings and find the "Notifications" tab. Scroll down and find the SwitchUp app. Make sure that "Allow Notifications" is toggled on, along with badges and sounds.
